Prof. Dr. Murat Bozkurt graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and subsequently earned the title of “Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist” from the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine. He later took part in joint surgery operations at Aarhus University in Denmark and carried out research activities at its Orthopedic Research Laboratory.

After returning to Turkey, he worked as an Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic of the Emergency Aid and Traumatology Hospital and at Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. He then served as Chief of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic at Dışkapı Training and Research Hospital, as Head of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic and Chief Physician at Etlik Specialty Training and Research Hospital, and as Chief of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic and Chief Physician at Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. Following these roles, he served as a Faculty Member in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology and as Head of the Department of Musculoskeletal System and Regenerative Medicine at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Medicine. Prof. Dr. Murat Bozkurt also holds a PhD in Clinical Anatomy.
